This may be curling,s ulcer(gastric or duodenal)
that may result in acute haematemesis .
Immunosupression increase the risk of
septic complications .Later there may be catabolic response to trauma with
severe weight loss .Nonspecific complications are urinary tract infection from
catheterisation , deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism .
